Try going to the @Abdali Souk . you'll find brand name shoes at a fraction of the price, some merchants sell new stuff only while others sell used stuff, check it out, you'd be surprised what you'll find, the market is usually open since Thursday morning although its called the Friday market :D
Where can I buy organic veggies for a reasonable price?
The only place I know of is the khodarji website. You buy online and they deliver. I have not tried it myself though. here is their link http://www.khodarji.com/ check them out.

you can find frozen asparagus at @Virgin Megastore its cheaper than the fresh stuff and much better than the canned asparagus.
